I am computer challenged and spent months trying to get this website to work properly. Without the help of TomDKat, you would not be viewing these pages. Many thanks to him for his patience & instruction!

MUSINGS:    (all jmho)

Putting together a website is much more difficult & time consuming than I expected. I have a new respect for web designers.

If your child asks for a pony, at least give them riding lessons. They'll either get it out of their system or learn to be an awesome rider while they're agile & fearless.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM BEING NEW TO RURAL LIFE:

Green on green makes black & blue...Choose that old, well rode horse before that pretty young filly with the gleam in her eye.

Goats need very strong & tall fences. They love to eat trees & Roses. If you want your pasture weeded, sheep do a better job.

Banty hens are some of the most devoted mothers on earth...find out what "broody" means before getting one.

Whole eggs don't compost & rotten ones explode...learned more than a year after throwing extras in the heap, while adding compost to new plants.

"Flushable" cat litter does not apply to septic systems. Especially not during the holidays with the house full of guests.
