WHO:

Star*Rose Ranch was founded in 1999 by Paul & Kim Consol, who named it in honor of their first two horses.
Starla & Rose were the inspiration & motivation to find a place with blue skies, green grass and room to run.

This ranch is confirmation that dreams do come true for Kim, who happily works full time as ranch manager.

Proving that old adage that says behind every successful rancher is a spouse that works in town,
Paul owns and operates Consol Construction. He also is a Captain in the Capay Valley Fire Department.

The ranch is located in beautiful Capay Valley, west of the township of Guinda.
We are approximately 50 miles NW of Sacramento, CA.

We raise hardy, multi purpose Heritage breeds that are ideal for families.
Stock is grass fed on rotational pastures.
We provide a comfortable environment that is as natural & sustainable as possible for the animals in our care.
We are committed to the health and humane treatment of our animals,
with respect for their physical and emotional needs.

In addition to our animals, we grow olives to produce our own blend of extra virgin olive oil.
